The weather is getting better and there are some sunspots so the HF bands are showing some life.
Folsom California, where I live, is located in the foothills of the Serra Nevada Mountains just east of Sacramento. It is a historic Gold Rush town located on the American River Yes it is the home to the Folsom Prison made famous by Johnny Cash. It is also next to Folsom Dam.
The city of Folsom has done a great job creating a system of walking and bicycle trails. Most of these trails are along a system of seasonal streams. These stream provide a habit for many animals and birds.

With the HF bands coming to life I have been spending some time operating on 15 meter PSK31. I use Ham Radio Deluxe for the radio control, logging, DX Spotting and for the digital radio modes.
This software takes some time to set up but is well worth the effort. Everything works together including the automatic uploads of QSOs to EQSL.
